Easter Eggs...The "easy" way???
So I bought this Easter egg dying kit that claimed to be easier/less messy than the usual dip/dunk kits...hmm...not so much! I will definitely stick to the old kind from now on! Lesson learned! At any rate, despite Logan having an Oscar-worthy tantrum because he couldn't be the one in charge of documenting the event (with my camera) the kids seemed to have a great time with this typical Easter tradition...

Venting
Do you ever feel like you are constantly trying to prove yourself to other people? Why is this? Doesn't it only really matter what we think of ourselves? I received my real estate license in the mail today! Its official! I worked hard for it and I am proud of what I accomplished! I know I don't have a degree, and some would say that anything less than that is a failure. It is hard not to compare myself to others in that regard. I am looking forward to seeing what the future brings and also in continuing to challenge myself in new areas.

Kole's Baptism Day
Kole was baptized today which was a very special moment for him and for his parents. We were very proud of him and his decision to become a member of the church. It was wonderful to have so many family members and friends come to show their love and support. Thank you everyone who shared this special day with us! It was great! :)

The latest...
So there have been some new developments in the Dillon household. I have officially gone back to school again. I am taking Intermediate Algebra (MATH 1010) and Intermediate Writing (ENGL 2010). So far the math is killing me! Bryan has reluctantly been promoted to the rank of full-time tutor and has been a tremendous help around the house! I'm pretty sure none of us would have any clean clothes to wear without his help! What a great husband he is!
Also, I am starting a part-time job next week at the gym I teach at. I will be working about 15 hours a week at their front desk. I am grateful for the opportunity to earn a little extra as the economy has taken a major toll on my jewelry business. The kids are doing well. Kole is very excited to be baptised the first Saturday in March. I can't believe we have a soon-to-be 8-year-old! Kamden is enjoying preschool still and can't wait to turn 5. He takes his little brother on a drive in his jeep at least once-a-day which I still get a kick out of. Logan is increasing in his ability to challenge my patience as the terrible two's press on. I am grateful for the peaceful moments I get when he is down for a nap and Kamden and Kole are at school. I do love my children, I DO love my children!
I was released from my church calling a few weeks ago and am cautiously awaiting the next one. I have to say that I thought I would enjoy not having one more than I have. There definitely is a joy in being able to serve. I guess I should just relax because I'm sure it won't last!
I finally got some new photos put into frames and on the wall in our entryway. I just LOVE how it turned out! Bryan loves to try and take credit for it..of course he did help out with the hanging..thanks dear!
Below are some photos of it:

Logan turns 2!!!
Ok everyone..stop thinking you're hallucinating..I am updating my blog!!!
Logan turned two this past week and he was so stinkin' cute the whole day! I have noticed in the past that birthdays are usually hard days for my kids...maybe just too much excitement..but not Logan! My favorite part of the birthday festivities was his face when we all started singing "Happy Birthday" to him..it was so cute! He just knew we were all there for him...hahahaha! I loved it. Enjoy these pics..

Logan Update
Just wanted to give a little update on our youngest child. (For posterity's sake, if nothing else.) He is such a funny little child. He is 17 months now which I can hardly believe. He runs everywhere..little to no walking period. He has recently started saying a whole bunch of new words and phrases which is very suprising to me because neither Kole nor Kamden talked this early. Some of his new words/phrases are:
"Wan dat!" ("I want that!") I used an exclamation point because he never says this passively...
In reference to this phrase, he often says this while pointing to my purse which I keep on the counter. We have figured out that it is not the purse he wants but my cell phone inside the purse. (I think he may be a little too smart for his own good.) And as some of you may already know, my cell phone is his all-time favorite item in the house, besides his beloved blankie.
"baba" (bottle)
"bah" (ball)
"Don't!"
"kee" (kitty) (referring to a stuffed cat that he is currently obsessed with)
He also loves to climb out of his high chair to the counter (its the kind that hooks on.) This is my "favorite" new development. And he LOVES doing anything outside, especially if there is a ball around. Watching his crazy 2 older brothers continues to be a cherished pastime. He is growing so quick that I wish I could just give him a magic pill to make things slow down a bit.

Happy Birthday Kamden!!!
I am a little slow about posting for Kamden's birthday but we have had a crazy couple of weeks. Kamden turned 4 on April 23, 2009. He is such a big boy now! (Can you tell what we've been saying to him over the past few weeks in an attempt to help with behavior?) We celebrated Kamden's birthday at Red Robin with Grandpa and Grandma Dillon and with Aunt Laura, Uncle Nate and cousins Addie and Josh. Having his cousins was an extra special treat since they live in California. We are very proud of Kamden who, in the past several weeks, has made real strides towards acting grown up! Happy Birthday big boy! WE LOVE YOU!!!
